Hi,

I have recently completely rebuilt a W2K Pro machine that was a stand-alone PC. It now appears that one of the local users had set permissions on a folder so that only he had access to it. Now the PC has been rebuilt and nobody can access the folder. The data on there is very very important and we need to get access to it ASAP.

Anybody know how i can do this?

User ERD Commander and reset the user password then you have access. Did you try to login and take ownership of the folder??
