Here is the situation:
E2K SP3, running on Win2K SP2 Dell PowerEdge 2400. I have installed the Archive Sink utility (see MSKB Article Q254767), and Trend ScanMail is scanning for viruses. Every 2 minutes I get the following error in the application log:
Souce: MSExchangeIS
Category: Content Engine
Event ID: 12002
Description: Error 80070003-82000387 ocurred while processing message <> from 'dshakin@aol.com'
The error message reads the same user for several hours, then the user in the description will change to a different email address. It appears as though only several specific email addresses are causing this.
What I have tried:
* Reapply SP3 for E2K
* Reapply SP2 for Win2K
* Stopped Trend ScanMail Service
* Stopped Archive Sink utility
None of these have helped. I can dismount the private store, then remount and the errors will stop for about an hour. Then they start back up again, one logged every 2 minutes. I have searched using the MSKB and Google extensively with no luck. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
