I have configured a customer's Exchange 2000 Server for Internet Mail. I can send email out to Internet Email addresses, but when I send Internet Mail back, I do not receive it. Now, I currently DO NOT have a their domain name registered, and I found out the one they want (and the one I have the server configured as) is NOT available. I am running this via a DSL w/ NAT - I have the appropriate ports opened (I hope - 25 for SMTP and 110 for POP3).
Current DNS Name (Internally): hksdsrvr.hksd.com
Server Name: hlthykids
How can I (a) configure the Exchange server to accept email from Internet addresses? (b) have Exchange recognize send email out with the correct email address(es) if I change their domain to something like hksd.us?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as they would like to have this running as soon as possible. They want to move their users off of Yahoo! and MSN Mail as soon as we can.
