Did you ever get an answer to to below?
I have the same problem, short of buying a third party pop3 connector.
My domain is mail.abelson.com (pop3).
My exchange server is just an NT server.
I do have an ISP, but I cannot seem to get mail from them either.

Thanks,
Glenn Abelson

I think I have what you are looking for. Try this, or let me know if you have

New Zone named mexplc.com
A record pop.mexplc.com to ip address
MX Record - Mail Exchange Name - mxserver.whybrow.com
Preference Number - 0

That should work for you. It makes it difficult not being able to test it. Hopes it works and helps you. If you require further help, either post a reply or email me. Thank you
