Regestry Viewing

Scenario: NT 4.0 server service pack 5 will not boot. The drive is then slaved on to another system. How would I be able to view the regestry of the drive that will not boot, now the secondary drive?

You cannot view the registry if using NTFS filesystem, only on FAT using a boot floppy. There are third-party tools that can view NTFS from boot floppy but only in read-only mode.

I suggest running a repair procedure using an ERD. If you have created one ;).
