Guys
I am having a debate with one of our remote sites at the moment. The senario goes like this.
We have recently closed one the Company offices and a need to reconfigure the Exchange routing via another bridge head server arose. However on this particular remote site there is no x400 connector visible [there defintely used to be] but when they had to reboot the server just prior to the reconfig of their end of the x400 the connector disappeared. So I thought simple just add a new x400 connector but when you go to the "add new other" the option for adding a new x400 connector is not visible. Its definitely running 5.5 enterprise version [they had to upgrade at the beginning of the year but I suspect that they didn't re-apply SP4. If you highlight the server via Exchange admin the only information that you can see is "Exchange Server 5.5 build XXXX" no mention of service pack level. Hence my reasoning that unless they re-apply the SP I/They will be unable to configure a new x400 connector. Does this sound correct ????
