I have an NT 4.0 SP6a server that constantly reports back an Event ID: 201;
"No License was available for user DOMAIN(USER NAME) using product SMBServer 4.0." However, SMBServer 4.0 was never installed on this server. In fact, there has never be a version of SMBServer installed on this computer. Because of this, I can not go in and up the license count? I have installed Veritas Backup Software, Adobe Acrobat, Proxy Client, NA Virus Protection, WinZip, SQL6.5 Client, and Visual Studio 6.
The real problem exist because this is my PDC and once it thinks it has reached the max users, no one can access the server until I reboot it. I have thought about just turning off my LicenseServie, but I am not sure what effect that might have on anything else?
Any Ideas would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks
