service pack 6a vs service pack 5 on servers

Does anyone know of a problem w/running service pack 6a on a server
while running 5 on all the others? Someone mentioned that having
different service packs (4 to 5 specifically) might cause a server to corrupt the SAM database. Anyone have any idea?

Bob,

Never heard of that. There are no documents relating to that issue from Microsoft. Is there a reason that you want to mix service pack levels on your Domain Controllers?
