I have a Win 2k network with 5 client machines. All the clients apart from one can see the server shares, ping around the network etc. One machine can't. When users logon it validates them on the server (I know because we deleted the local profile and it still validates them), however, it won't allow access to any of the shares and it can't ping any other machine (including the server) either.

One of the client machines can ping it, but can't access any of its resources, including the default shares.

I've checked that it's a member of the domain and it seems to be, but I can't get it to see the network resources.

Any ideas?

Take that machine back to workgroup then rejoin the domain. I have seen thus problem before, and this was the quickest and probably the best fix I came up with.
