I have a Windows NT 4.0 SP6 server that will run for a half an hour and then lock at the desktop - no errors - just stops - reboot and nothing in the event viewer - just last shutdown was unexpected - please any Ideas I have replaced almost everything

What is the primary function of the server ? What apps are on it ?

Try service pack SP6a.

Check your memory. Had same problem, turned out to be a bad memory chip.
