Ok guys...here is the scenario. I am running a Windows 2000 server (SP2), IIS, and TrendMicro OfficeScan Corp server software. I am running into a problem of severely slow downloads (less then 1 KBps!!! on a T1) when I try to download anything from the internet(outside our LAN). The connection to the server IN our LAN is wonderful, but downloading from outside is slow as hell. My upload stream for the outside world is wonderful as well. What would be causing this? I am not using a proxy server, I have tried to reinstall IE and have added all the hotfixes from Microsoft Pre-SP3. No other servers in my environment are doing this...I also verified it is not a problem with the jack as I plugged my laptop in to the same jack and was able to download from the outside with great transfer rates. It seems to be only a problem with HTTP downloads from outside out LAN. Any ideas?
