I have went to My computer and changed the view to Details, however every time I go into windows explorer the view pops up with Large Icons. Does anyone know how to default this to details. It is very annoying.

Gene,

Open Explorer, select Tools | Folder Options | View tab, then select "Like current folder". This will set every directory you view to be the same as how you have set the current view.
