Hi,
I've been using dhcp for years, and understand the dhcpdiscover ect process however i've never quite worked out one bit.
When setting up scopes for remote sites on a central server
eg on server has scopes for 192.168.10.x, 192.168.20.x 192.168.21.x
the local site is 192.168.10.x - remote sites have ip helper addresses in the routers, hence why they gets ip's - no worries.
Why however does the local site, not pickup the remote site IP's ever?
