entry point not found error

Hi,
I get this error "setup.exe - Entry point not found" error whenever I reboot the server. The procedure entry point cmp_waitNopendingInstallEvents could not be loaded in the dynamic link library setupapi.dll.
Also I cannot start the "add / remove programs " utility.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Jeff,

Check out MS KB article # Q169391. Although it does not list the error as appearing during a restart, it certainly shows the symptoms of the Add/Remove Programs. Let us know if that's it or not.
