Has anyone ever got this program to work?
Method used for setup as follows:
1. Have setup with common account for both the service and the email
account.
2. Disabled the Win2k personal fax Service.
3. Have only one route method enabled (To email)
Environment
Win2k Server BackOffice 2000 SP3.
The destination is an email box in Exchange 5.5.(Not the problem)
USR V Everything Modems.
It sometime works (Routing email message) and other times it does not work
(Routing the email message).
Error messages:
Event ID: 32080, 32088, 32078 (none of which are either on the internet,eventid.net.or M$, or the help file in the list of known error messages)
Shared Fax failed to execute a specific routing method.
Unable to route file name to email address.
Successfully received fax did not automatically route.
The Fax service successfully receives all the faxes not a problem there. It
is just any type of Routing does not work. Printer, file folder, email.
None of them work.
Have noted may unanswered requests on the same issue. Also NO Qdocs on
any FAX issue on servers at all. Is this an indication that the shared Fax
service in SBS and Backoffice 2000 should not be used?
