Arcserve Open files agent and Win2K roaming profiles

We are having a problem with saving roaming profiles on a server running the Arcserve 2000 Backup agent for open files.

The message is access denied.

When the agent is removed, the problem goes also

everything is the latest and greatest

even occurs as admin with profile share everyone full for share and file level permissions

Any help would be appreciated

Andrew,

What files(s) are giving you the access denied error message? What account is the Arcserve agent service running under? Does this account have permissions to the file(s) giving you this error? Have you contacted Computer Associates to see if they have any known, or possibly unknown, issues with Windows 2000?
