missing Product ID/ License Code

Slight off topic...
I have a 98 CD and no Product ID/License code to install it. Is there an ini or text file on the cd with this info? The CD is useless without this code and machine needs 98 re-installed.

I am sorry but your best bet is to get in touch with microsoft. I am pretty certain that the license key is not on the cd in readable format(maybe encoded). If you can prove that you own the CD and have obtained it legally Microsoft should help.
