Roaming profiles

We have a selection of users that when they logon in it says that there roaming profile is unavailable. The profile is not in use and is in the correct location on the server. Sometimes rebooting the last PC that they where logon to will clear the problems but this is only 50% successful If anyone has any ideas it would be most welcome.

We are running Windows 2000 server and Windows 2000 on the desktop.
