I am looking for a way to hide certain folders in a share for certain users
based on group membership they will only be able to see the folders of the departments they work for. And I want all all the departments mapped under one drive letter, various drive letters for all the departments they work for is possible but that is not what i want.
all the department folders are in one share on a server.
I am aware of Q303758 in the knowledge base
annyone had a idea how to do this with a script?

Sorry pal,
No matter what script you will create - it is a NTFS property.
It is not possible is windows.

I, too, would love to be able to do this. This is an incredible security hole in the OS, as far as I'm concerned.
Did you find any solutions? If I could trouble you to let me know that would be great.
Thanks in advance.
