I often get a popup message that reads."unable to update your free/busy information". I have tried to run the cleanfreebusy switch, but receives the error message saying "unable to clean free/busy information on the server". my free/busy information shows up as lines.
our email envirnoment is ... microsoft exchange server 5.5.
I am using outlook 2000 with corporate or workgroup configuration.

We had this problem (in a W2K/E2K environment). We also could not view each other's free/busy information when scheduling meetings. This was a big problem for us. Microsoft says it's a bug where Outlook is publishing the information in lower case and AD is publishing the information in upper case (or vice versa). They said there's a hotfix in the making. We couldn't wait so ended up building a new exchange server, exmerging all the users out and importing them after removing all traces of exchange from the environment (especially AD).
