attachment problems in Exchange

Have you heard about attachment file corruption in Exchange ? I've been caught with a problem: certain types of HTML files, with heavy Javascript content, have been corrupted by Exchange. The corruption I mean is: some dots (.) from the Javascript code (the code within the attached file) have been omitted, causing a JS error while attempting to open the file. So, have anybody heard about things like these ? If so, please give some queue. Is it a bug in Exchange ?
