Sorry if this has been talked to death here, but I couldn't find any words of wisdom on this already posted.
We have a single NT4 sp6a domain with about 4000 users and 5000 devices. When we go to AD, we are going to stay with the same single domain and same userids and machine ids. We currently a PDC and about 11 BDCs scattered throughout the state.
Some folks are telling me that we should bring up the AD domain clean and migrate people over. But everything I have read tells me to upgrade in place, to avoid the headaches of migration.
What do you folks think? Are there headaches I don't know about with the upgrade option?
