HP openmail to Exchange

I need to migrate about 1000 users from HP OPENMAIL to MS Exchange. Has anyone done this before and if so, can you give me some pointers that made it easy and the pit falls to expect.

I am starting similar project with over 3000 users. Have you done any work converting messages or an automated method to change profile server name yet? Let's compare notes!

No, I have not started on any conversions yet. However, I have found an application that makes it easy[claims to]to do the migration. It is published by simplerweb. check them out at http://www.simplerweb.com. I am very interested in knowing how your project is going. I will be starting in about a month.

Looked at SimplerWeb PSTconverter and another product called Direct-to-1. These are the only two products that make conversion tools from Openmail to Exchange. Leaning toward the pst/pabconverter from simplerweb. Their product is more flexible and fits into the client environment better. Shoot me an e-mail if interested in additional details. Good luck. Recommend a good deal of time to test and plan the migration.
