Automating computer name with sysprep.inf

Does anyone know how to automate the computer name in a sysprep.inf file so we can use our current naming scheme without changing the inf file every time? We use a six digit number that is assigned to each pc. It doesn't correspond to anything else on the pc.

I have never tried sysprep yet, but if you are RIS'ing and are prestaging, the %machinename% will add the computer name from the prestaging info.
