Looking for opinions as well as research material. I have 5 2k Servers in an active directory domain. All having different tasks. A 3rd party consultant has come in requesting that the server that houses the accounting application (SQL Server 2k based)be demoted to a member server. Removing the administrators group from the server for security purposes. As the end all be all administrator/computer tech this is ludicrous to me! Any thoughts as I prepare for a big meeting on wednesday?
