Enviroment: 2 Exchange 5.5 servers (Jerry and X1) in a Site A. In the organization, site A replicates to a remote site B and vice versa.

Jerry in site A dies. Jerry was the local bridgehead server of Site A, but essentially was nothing more than a backup server in case X1 died. Anyway, the bridgehead is moved to X1 and changed tho refelct in Site B as well. Issue: no new changes in Site A are replicating to Site B. Logging for the MSExchangeDS for replication is set to maximum and the only thing it's logging is the inability to contact Jerry (Jerry is still in site A because when he's fixed he's coming back).

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jeff

i.can you ping to the server name o.k.?

ii. have you tried manually recalculating the routing table?

iii. have you tried removing the DirRep connector from both sides and reapplying it?

Mark,

Thanks for the feedback. Items I and II, I had tried, and they were successful. Removing the dir rep connector and recreating it fixed the problem, on the second try.

Jeff
