Here's an odd one. I have multiple exchange sites and some of the sites cannot send email to about 7 internet domains (ex. juser@somedomain.com). However, my main site is able to send email to those same internet uers. The users in my remote sites have to forward their messages for these domains to me first and then I forward them to the appropriate address. So far I haven't found a solution for this problem. We are running SP2.

I've got the same problem, it started a few days ago. What I found out is that the Exchange server tries to connect to different server than the mx record of that domain is pointing to. compared c:winntsystem32logfilesSMTPSVC1ex********.log and nslookup -type=mx <domain-name>

Exchange server SP3 on W2k Sp2

Is that the same on your server ?

Thanks

R.j.
