hi everybody,
i wanted to know if there is a memory limit to windows 2000.
i have heared that windows 2000 can use only 1.5 GB of memory.
we r gonig to buy motherboards with 3 GB of memory and i wanted to know
if windows 2000 will be able to handle and use this?

Hi Ron,
I believe that the limit for W2K Server is 4GB and Advanced Server is 64GB. I'm running servers with 2GB with no issues. Since they are Exchange 2k, one can assume that they are sucking up everything that they can! :)

hi rick,
i wanted to know if there is a memory limit for a work station that runs with
win 2k. not the server.
if any one knows...
