I woulw like to delegate authority to some of my "super users" to create / modify / and reset users.
I have gone through the delegation wizard and specified who I would like to be able to do this. However, I have no clue on how to set it up at their desktop so they can accomplish the task.
Any suggestions??
Thanks

Have you put adminpak.msi on their machines? This would allow them access to the AD from their machines. You should be able to just install the AD Users & Computers snap in to their machine.

Shovel:
I have placed the appropirate tool on their compouter. However, it tells me that:
Naming information cannot be located because: The serve is not operational. Contact your system administrator to verify that your domain is properly configured and is currently online.
Weel, as far as I can tell the domain is ok and it is online.
Now mind you, I have just stepped into this job and there are a few things that are awry, but nothing out of the norm.
Any suggestions??

I am asuming that his is for a Win 2K domain and win 2 K Pro systems.
You need to add Active Directory users and groups to their system.
There is an admin pack on microsoft's site that will install this.
Or you can install it from the 2K server CD.

John Q:
Shovel was kind enough to add this for me. But, inevitably, there is a problem. IT IS... Winsock proxy has been destroyed by SP2. Nice you say?? Yeah, me too. There is a bazillion tid's on the fix, but I DO NOT want to do this on my production DC.
Looks like I will have to just hang it up or rebuild my DC. Nice, thanks MS.
