I need someone to help me by giving me a step by step guide on how to create a Foreign Address.
My problem is as follows:

I need to give an employee an email address: employee@mydomain.com
I do not want that person to connect to my server
Therefore I need to forward this email to another address: employee@anotherdomain.com

I'm pretty vague on the details other than I need to create a Foreign Address and a Distribution List.

Any help is appreciated.

You just create a custom recipient - type Internet Address - assign the internet address as the address you want to forward the messages onto, then set up the name etc. This should appear with a globe symbol in the Recipients container. Then go into the email address tab on the entry and add a new internet address with the receiving address @yourdomain.com - that way mail will be delivered in to your organisation to this recipient and forwarded directly back out again to their internet mail address. This does not create a local mailbox so they have no access to your server

Regards

Andy
