Need help; can't rcv SMTP mail

W2000, Exch2000 from SBS.
I've got SMTP mail partially working, user sends email, out it goes and rcvs any queued email coming in. Although I've got the 'Additionally Request Mail at Specified Times' box checked, and have set a custom schedule to retrieve mail every half hour, I still don't get anything if no-one sends email. The scheduled connect happens OK with no errors, but no mail received. I'm using demand-Dial Router rather than DUN.

I'm not on latest SPs, so update them is next move, but can't see any relevant fixes in the SPs. Any ideas anyone?

have you setup ur DNS and MX record?
