Restoring Public Folder

Hi All,
Could do with some help and advice please on how to restore a public folder from an online tape backup to a new server. I only need the Public folder. I know I can move or copy the info to a pst file into Outlook once it is restored. I have built a stand alone server with NT4 SP6 and Exchange 5.5 SP3. I have the backup tape with the required folder on it. I joined a new site when i installed Exchange. Now what? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There are very few good articles that I have found written for situations that do not require nearly identical operating system setups, but when I finish my current restoration project I will post it around.
