Hi,

Aware that OWA 2000 requires a Enterprise License, therefore was just checking if OWA 5.5 can work with Exchange 2000.
If so, are there any consideratons?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, owa 5.5 can be used as a front end. The only downside is that you do not get any news features, it continues to function like it did with Exchange 5.5.

owa for e2k does not require an enterprise license... not sure where you heard that. It is installed by default - automatically with the e2k install. owa is dependent upon the server, not the client, so attaching to a 5.5 server would give you 5.5 owa, attaching to a 2k server would give you 2k owa.

Hi

Regardng OWA 5.5 in DMZ and Exchange 2000 on LAN

Anyone tried to install OWA 5.5 (DMZ)in a new Exchange 2000 Org. ? or a workaround !?

It works if you upgrade the existing 5.5 (On LAN)server to Ex2k ! .

Best regards
Jesper
