Greetings,
I'm tasked with removing the Microsoft version of Client Service for Netware (CSNW) from my organizations 400+ Windows XP Pro systems. We're completing a Novell Migration and the last step is to remvoe the client. When we manually uninstall it from control panel, it works like a champ. I need to automate and deploy it via SMS 2.0, however.
Call to MS Premier Support turned up 0 -- They referred me to their consulting branch. Anyone out there got a tool to remove it?
I've tried the Novell Client NCIMAN.exe tool to convert and then remove from command line, but it won't get rid of IPX / NWLINK protocols or the Novell Common folder. Attempts to use SMS Installer 32 also failed (won't fully uninstall it). Also, the command line tools to uninstall CSNW that MS has only work under NT 4.0.
I'm disappointed that there is not more on this issue out there; certainly I'm not the only one performing Novell migrations under WinXP.
THANKS in advance to anyone who can point me in the right direction.
