I have a group of servers that run a third party web app. During the initial install all servers were configured with a security script to secure the systems. I have a few new apps to install and they installed fine on 4 out of 6 servers. On the other 2, the software installs, but at the end, when it tries to start the service, I get and error "not a valid win32 application". This has happened on more than 1 application, so I am assuming that there is a setting on the 2 servers somewhere that is causing the problem. I have compared the local security policies and there is no difference. I am now trying to find out if it is a registry key. Has anyone else come across/resolved this error?
