I have a friend that has developed (project managed -- not coding on it) a
VB app running. For stability and security reasons, we've put it on a Win2k
environment. Since the app runs on a kiosk system, they want to disable the
CTRL-ALT-DEL function all together - not just Task Manager. Is this
possible (w/out doing it through coding)? Will be running it on both a
Win2k Server and Win2k Pro environment.

Thanks in advance.

You can disable the CTRL-ALT-DEL screen so when you boot up all you have to do is enter your password without having to use the CTRL-ALT-DEL buttons. Is that what you mean?

To do this add the group policy snap-in into an mmc. Expand Computer Configuration Windows Settings Security Settings Security Options.
Under here you will find the policy "Disable CTRL+ALT+DEL requirement for logon" Enable this option. There are a lot of other security options you may find usefull in there too.

Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Glenn.
