Recently our Brick Level Backup of Exchange 5.5 (SP4) mailboxes had to be removed from the ARCServe 6.61 (SP2A) job queue due to it crashing the job with the similar messages to below, and on a number of mailboxes.

E8602 Failed to read from database. (DBNAME=Individual MailboxesRyan, DoloresJournal, EC=EXCH Exchange Agent -- (418) "Application run out of memory".)

I have searched high and low for a solution to this problem resulting in utter frustration. Even CA don't seem to have a solution. If anyone out there has came across this problem and found a solution please let me know.

Even an ex-CA employee told me not to use CA products. My last job we switched to veritas and all was well.
