autoforwarding email via exchange

I am looking for a way to automatically forward mail sent to a custom recipiant in Exchange 5.5 to another smpt address.
How do i do it?

some background: I need to forward mail that is arriving from a smtp source (VMS VAX system, isolated from the outside and only able to send mail to our domain) to an alpha-num pager with its own smtp address. i have set up a custom recipiant for the pager using its smpt address (5554441234@epage.arch.com) but i cannot send from my VAX system to that custom recipiant. does this make any sense? let me know if you need more info to help with the question.

create a real mail box for the server to send the incoming message
to then on the delivery options tab of that user have it delivered to alternate recipient (custom recipient)
