I am running exchange 5.5 as an smtp server that gets confirmation emails from an hp3000 and forwards these to customers. I am getting undeliverables to any mailbox that is not on our internal network, the smtp failure is pasted below.

my question is about the 1 in front of the =cdamlx0101110823226, is that supposed to be there. I have tested sending to hotmail directly through that smtp server and it works fine, i think that the hp is putting something in the smtp properties making it bomb but i do not know what, can anyone help with this, thanks.
