We have an Exchange 5.5 site that has two current servers, ONE and TWO. When the site was first set up, there was another server, OLD, that has since been taken offline and physicaly no longer exists.
The problem is that some public folders were left on OLD before it was trashed. Now when we run Exchange Administrator or the Outlook clients the OLD server still shows up. If we try to delete it via Administrator, after about 5 minutes of trying to verify that the server has been removed the Administrator stops responding.
Is there any way of removing this server permanently or are we stuck with it forever ?
