If you install php on apache, that will have embedded mysql support. There are many converters on the internet. try www.hotscripts.com. KevinReichard 08-07-2002, 04:39 PM A better site for PHP scripts and articles is PHPBuilder: http://www.phpbuilder.com The site also features a ton of tutorials and discussions that address this very issue. I tried looking for such a script on hotscripts and there wasn't one. --Kevin louiewear 08-07-2002, 10:05 PM this is my first go round with a server and am trying to update to apache 2.0.39 lew KevinReichard 08-09-2002, 02:39 PM Updating Apache is a tricky business in terms of advisability -- is there a specific reason why you want or need to update? --Kevin louiewear 08-10-2002, 10:49 AM i need a data base search engine on this server that will look up people by name what they did played , members of bands , studio mus, producers owners of record lables so on let me go into what i am trying to do and will look at all ideas on this i collect records and have a lot of early recordings ,pic and newspaper articale of people that were in music but went on to other things and and have a lot of early recordings of local people that were the movers and shackers in the music bus and am trying to get all this so it can be looked at in some order started all this in 1984 so any help of any kind i'll take louie wear Muscle Shoals Alabama louiewear 09-15-2002, 12:36 PM got apache 1.3 running with php3 running i've tried all the help and man pages i could find to get a dbase4 datafile to run will post as i move along thanks lew Serverwatch.com
