Hi,
I have to upgrade a W2K server and have been trying to find the best way of moving all the data from the old box to the new one. I can obviously copy the data (drag & drop) but then I loose the NTFS permissions. I can backup the data onto the new server as a file and then restore it to the new location but there has to be a better way (doesn't there?!).
Also is there a way to migrate any shares and even printers to the new box?
