Can anyone point me to some good resources on advanced AddressList configuration. I am trying to create an address list that shows all users, groups, and contacts, that have an email address ending with @soansodomain.com. So far I can only get it to display users, groups, or contacts, but not all at the same time. I have no ida how to create a custom LDAP query. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Terry,
This feature is really powerful, but I whole hardily agree that some documentation would have been nice to include. :)
One place to start is the LDP tool found in the Windows Support Tools. Using this you can see, by clicking on an object, the LDAP query that is used to gather the information buried in the text in the right-hand pane.
I haven't found ant real good documentation on building the LDAP query for Exchange, but MS KB note Q255602 gives some decent documentation on LDP which will get you headed in the right direction.
I'd suggest that you use the ALL ADDRESS LISTS area in the ESM to store your custom queries while testing so that you dont disrupt your users too much (this is actually were we ended up storing all of our custom lists permenently too). As with anything, the first couple will be the toughest to create and get working, after that its just alot of cut-and-paste to adjust them for other queries.
Hope this helps,
Rick
