Error renaming folder in W2K Pro

Hi ... I have two computers with the same problem. One drive is fat32 the other NTFS. If you create a new folder, copy some files into the folder, delete a file from a folder and then try to rename the folder, an error appears saying that the there was an error renaming the file the file may be in use access denied. The user's local and domain accounts have administrative priveleges. The NTFS drive has the proper priveleges in the security section of the affected folder. This problem occurs when using Explorer or going the My Computer. Appreciate any tips.
