I've tried to run smsls.bat through a group policy which doesn't work. I'm also having problems running it through the profile/logon script. Is there a way to make this work? If not what other alternatives do I have?

We've been successful in running this in our login script by adding
call \nab00smsshr2smsls.bat
The nab00 is a logon point for the domain.

Also, make sure your subnet boundary are configured and if you are try to inventory Windows 2000 client that Window NT Remote installation is enabled. It may be working but you are not getting client inventory.
