I would like to offer scheduling for conference rooms, 3 in all, via outlook/exchange. I have been unable to find ANY information on how to do this. Could someone please point me in the right direction. ES5.5/NT4/OL2K Thanks...
You set each conference room up just like you would a user, each with it's own email account.
Then choose the person(s) that will take care of the replies, give them access to the conference room email accounts. I just added it to their outlook.
Although you will read that conference rooms or other 'resources' can have automatic replies to schedule requests, they can only reply automatically if you have one pc set up running outlook for each resource. In other words, you would need 3 pcs running outlook 24/7 each of your rooms. We have lots of resources so that solution didn't work for us.
The person(s) you give access to need only to look at each request as it comes in and accept or deny the request.
Our rule here is first come, first serve.

That solution while works will not automatically accept/reject duplicates. I set up an "conference room supervisor" account, gave it delegate rights to the 12 conference rooms I need scheduled and set it up to auto reply/reject duplicates. That way I don't "need" a body to perform that menial task. Been running like that for three years. Found out how to set up this via Microsoft Technet, had a "step by step"...

I have 64 Resources running this way. I have a Resource Account that is the deligate for all the resources. I have a single PC that acts as an Admin Station type machine running many different applications. One of which is Outlook, logged in as the Resource Account. I automatically accept meeting requests. I decline conflicting meetings. One or two of the resources stop responding from time to time, but closing outlook and opening it again fixes that problem.
