sever room

hi
i am creating a server room power book, i wanted to know if there is any order in which the servers should be switched off? we have file sever mail sever, storage server, application server, terminal sever. What order does everything go off including switches and routers

I don't think it matters much as long as the running applications are gracefully closed and the servers are isolated from the network. Personally, I always isolated the servers when doing any kind of maintenance even if a shut down was not necessary.

thanks for the reply ua549, I always thought this has to be done in order of low to high risk.
