We are about to replace our server at the office I work at. It is currently being used as a file server with a few users that map to a few shared folders with their own names and pass'.
What we need is a server that can handle taking over the linksys job of assigning IPs (about 35 computers are on the network and the linksys often gives ip conflicts). It will be used as a file server for quickbooks and various other applications. It will back up daily and will have multiple users.
I dont know if quickbooks will even function on a linux server, and I am not the most knowledgeable about linux root commands and various other things with linux.
