I am no computer tech; I am a user with an open mind. I've been having trojans enter my system lately and seem to have it under control with PC doc. However, today I attempted to uninstall A-square and commented that I was suspicious of it having been the cause of my trojans. When I hit the uninstall I received the error in my title. What do I do? I read that the View state mac is the following:
The View State MAC feature is intended to prevent a client from sending a request that contains malicious View State data. By default, the View State MAC feature is enabled by using the enableViewStateMac="true" flag in your Machine.config file.
Does this have anything to do with my suspicions? HOw do I repair this and how serious is it?

There are two issues here: possible infections, and weirdo error messages. When you know your system has been successfully invaded, the only sure-cure is a complete wipe-and-reinstall. Hopefully after learning how the bad guys got in in the first place, and closing the hole.

Your error message has generated a lot of discussions; check out the links in the answers on this page:

I think that should steer you in the right direction.
