My DSLR obsession is growing! I have some nice gear and am having a ball. It helps living out in the pretty wilds where everything makes a nice photo. Oh, and having photogenic critters:

I'm learning that Linux is a pretty good platform for managing and editing digital photos. I don't know about printing yet; I have a good little photo printer but it's not all tweakable like the high-end ones.

This might be interesting to wizened old fillum photographers making the transition to digital. Executive summary: it's great, come on down and join the fun!

Yes, he's a darn good pup. Smart as can be and naturally gentle, which is good considering he has three cat siblings. This cat in particular has adopted him as a brother, and even sleeps with him in his little house:

All the kids were dump jobs. I wish I could dump certain people in the middle of nowhere, and tell them "don't worry, you can live off the land!"
